ACCESSIBILITY
Why are lampposts and power poles fundamental to the EV charging infrastructure?
In Australia, approximately 15% of inner city households do not have access to off-street parking. Lack of publicly available chargers and charge point accessibility is one of the main barriers to EV adoption. ChargePost is specifically engineered to be installed either inside existing lamp columns or onto power poles. No digging up pavements, no additional permit fees for residents, and can be installed in under 60 minutes providing minimal disruption.
